Sarking – are the wood panels located under the roof covering materials.
Rafter – is one of the beams in the roof that support the roof.
Roof Gutter – rain gutter is a channel that is part of the rook system that allows the collection of rainwater to be diverted away from the roof edges.
Downpipe – is connected to the roof gutter and carries the water collected from the roof gutter.
Roof Tile – are used to cover the top of the roof.
Fascia – are located often where the roof gutters are attached to the house, and is a trim used to cover the rafter end of the eaves.
